Established in 1968, the Northern Illinois Street Rod Association promotes various types of street rod activities, creates good fellowship and sportsmanship amongst its members, conducts club operations using good government principals for the safe enjoyment of its members and to inform the public about our love of vintage performance automobiles.

Monthly meetings are held at Nick's Pizza & Pub 990 S. Randall Road Elgin, IL, just 5.6 mile south of the I-90 tollway on Randall Road. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month starting at 7:00p. Rules for membership include attending at least 3 meetings before voted in by a majority of members, the love of street rods and ownership of a vehicle, modified from stock, running or under construction.

Membership dues are $25 annually, there is a monthly newsletter called Streetrod, club attendance at various events and cruise nights, annual car show in McHenry called Fiesta Days car show in July. This will be our 30th year running the show! We also are going to various Cruise Nights though out the northwest suburbs all summer long. The Northern Illinois Street Rod Association is a not-for-profit organization that gives money to charities and donates their time and moneys for other worthwhile causes.
